yeah does look rather aggressive, not really worth taking it off as its just asking to get pulled and another excuse for the police!

It looks ace without a front numberplate, even without any smoothing!
You could remove your 'plates (if you have screw-on fixings like me) for shows and events perhaps, just remember to put them back on before leaving!
The vast majority of cars look A1 without a front 'plate, perhaps we should follow the lead of most States in the US

i had to take it off, apparently an 'R' is not supposed to look like an 'A'
i had it polished and cleaned with the numberplate off and it jus looked so damn good i didint put it back on, but as long as the numberplate can be seen clearly, maybe on the inside of the dash, i dont think they mind.

You could always use the excuse oh sorry officer i didn't realise it fell off - i had it stuck on with tape - i'll go to halfords now and get a new one 
But yes they look sooooo much better without plates.
