UK-POLOS.NET - THE VW Polo Forum

My best mates been so fed up with his Panda 1ltre, hes driven it into the ground and he loves my Polo, so he's looking for a VW Polo MK1 or MK2..

First search he does with his postcode on autotrader, brings up a Volkswagen Polo GL 1982 (Dark Brown), No rust on outter paint work, just been moted last week, passed with no problems, its done 52,244 miles, had 4 brand new tyres put on 6 months ago and the interior is in great nick...

Guy wants £400 for it LOL

Side question, whats the Polo GL Engine wise? as he forgot to mention..

GL could be either the 1.1, or 1.3 i imagin??? if its 1982... thats X reg aint it?? or a Y???

GL is the higher inline polo.... so i guess it will be a nice little car for 400!

id say go for it what ever engine!!

Yeh think he's not too bothered for the price, gonna check it out at the weekend..
