its ur car but may i suggest, dont use mesh, use the fk badgless grill ( alot nicer), no skirts, drop it 60/80 thats a must! but if u do ur 16's may not fit so got for 15'' deep dish style. :D shud look the part then, oh an look afta ur paintwork, get ur baby shiny an then get a few pics 2 show us :D

good luck

I too prefer the fk grille. Looks good on red. Here's mine which is dropped 60mm on 15x7 ronals. 7 is about as wide as you can go on a polo I believe. I originally wanted 17's but I am impressed with how good 15's look I though they'd look too small but they don't and the tyres are loads cheaper!!! :D

the black bits kinda work, considering he got black rear lights too it works in a weird way. would of thought red polo = mrk 5 lights but the black ones work...

i prefer the badgeless grills to that type, but each to their own.

Gonna keep the mouldings as I'm going for tints which work well with black mouldings and door handles along with the back lights. If I took them off the handles would look odd and probably need painting. The only thing I have considered is getting the door handles and some mk5 moulding sprayed gloss black. Know its different but seen it done on some fords and vauhalls and looks quite subtle.

Bit off topic from the post start. Sorry :?

Vee Dub just go for what you fancy. Experiment a bit. Moddings all about what you like so if you fancy the mesh grill go for it. Should look sweet. Just make sure you have a theme sort of thing. I've gone for a black and red and subtle sort of thing. Lexus lights angel eyes and all that sort of stuff can look a bit chav (been there done that never again!!). Try and pick mods that compliment each other. My first car looked a shambles coz I picked what I liked without thinking what it'd look like. After a year I took it all off and started again. You learns from your mistakes so experiment. Plus its a bug you'll never finish coz theres allwys something else to do.

Have fun and forums are great for finding stuff out so keep us alll posted with how your gettin on. :D
