Hello,

I would like some advice on some brake pads! I currently have a 2002 Polo 1.2 65hp 9N and am interested in upgrading my brake pads! The brake dust at the moment appearing on my wheels are uneblieve, and wondered if any brake discs could be recomended that give less brake dust! I haven't been able to find any! Will I need to change the discs if I upgrade the pads, the car has only just hit 21,000 miles! I would appreaciate an adivce on this, and thankyou in advance!

Hello

You probably won't need to change your discs after only 21k, but check the thickness when you've got the wheels off just in case.

If you want less dust, then steer clear of grooved discs and, sadly, Pagid pads (my favourites-they don't half make some dust though).

Greenstuff pads are very good for not giving off black dust, but in my experience aren't very good at actually stopping the car. That said, some other people swear by them...
