any help welcome

got a mate who has got problems with her stereo.
it keeps turning its self off and on and has sent her battery flat more than once.
my question is, can you buy a facia so that she can put her own stereo in it? coz all the fans and the other crap is on the same unit??

what mark of ibiza has ur friend got?? or what year maybe?
to me its sounds like a mk3 and in which case i don't think there is a facia!
some people have built a stereo in2 their glovebox!!

It's a MK3.... The only way to fix the problem you have if you don't want to put a HU in the glovebox is to buy a new front panel with the screen in it or see if a Dealer can get a replacement circuit board for the back. This is a bit of a common problem with these...it ain't cheap either...

cheers for the help, its a shame coz they are nice cars but to have a sterio and fan controls all in one is quite crap! i think its is a mark3, its a Vreg.

yeah v reg would just put it in the mark 3 band!! i did think the design of the dash was a bit too radical with everything on one console!!
probably why they went back to a conventional console for the mark4!!
