I want to CC a few bits, my rear badge & splitter, were can I get reflex silver spray paint? Halfords say its special order? Anywhere other then there?

VW, but then most places will have to order it in.

Have you not got any paint places around your way, there's one in Bedford I use, takes them between 5-10 minutes to mix it up and stick it in a rattle can.

VW dealer will have cans, but only sell them in a small can size

my mate works at halfords they will mix it there and then for you!

The paint is available for £12 i think from vw dealers, they will have it in stock usually and it comes with the base coat and them the clear laquer.

so for the £12 you get the base, main colour and the laquer? that sounds like a good deal

how many cans do you think would be needed to colour code a rear badge and gti splitter?

I'd try my link above - they supply larger cans

The VW one's are smaller than Halford sized spray cans

Click "choose a colour"

Select VW in manufacturer list, put Year as 2001 and put Reflex Silver in Colour Description and hit Search button - will defo find it, then click Buy Colour button

my car is 2000 but i presume the reflex silver is still the same colour in 2000 and 2001

yep exactly the same hehe

I was worried too, as mine is 2000 also, but there database is incorrect (does not find reflex silver for a 2000 year car)

No problem

Its a base and a laquer, but I cannot get them to match even close, I ended up getting it done properly.

VW sell touchup and paint cans, they are ok.
