lowering my polo 6n2

hello there i want to lower my polo,im not to sure if i should just buy lowering springs or buy a full kit dampers and springs,i got 17s on it how low should i go and i want it to be stiff, wot kit should i buy.

i wanna spend any thing between £200-£300 max thanks guys

just lowered my mk 5 1.4 2day!im on 17s n dropped it 35mm, n i think its still 2 high.iv just gone springs, the standard shocks are gas so they can handle a bit more (so iv bin told). iv gone with apex springs n there soft as s**t so dnt bother with them! apparently spax r pretty stiff from what i hear. i think u can get away with 40-50mm, but if u want 2 go lower id upgrade shocks 2. oh n my arches arn't rolled n theres no scrubbing.

to get the best look get coilivers they will be able to drop on the 17's with minimum rubbin unless you quite low.

agreed, thats the best option bout doubt ul get any 4 ur budget

could get a set of fk ak coilovers for around £300
the cheapest coilover kit you can get, basically a budget kit.

those fk coilovers any gud? u cant really complain 4 £300, jst wondering if there worth it, or r u beter off waiting n getting a better set? im want coilovers now!

i run the same things on my 2litre track corsa and find them ok, obviously theyll never be konigsports at that sort of money but at 300 cant relly complain.

or ill be running the gb soon where the highsports, konigs etc will be gon gfor good prices

The Fk budget ones have been known to seize up according to a few people on this forum. Basically if you do get them, sort the ride height out before you leave them. Also they are prone to rust
