Mine just got smash*d be some c*nt driving in the middle of the road!

know who he is, got his details n that, im f*ckin irate though eh. its hard to judge the extend of the damage to the casing, too dark. glass is f*cked tho

that happened to me too, still trying to replace the mirror, as it is hard to get the proper one. check that the little motor thing that moves the mirror is not smashed too, if it is then its gone be expensive unless u get lucky n find one! mine was ok thankfully, but need the glass with the matel bits that grip onto the motor to move it!

yeah checked it this morning and tis f*cked, and yes..it was expensive lol

new glass and motor on now, the casing polished up ok.

but the idiots and VW have wired the mirror backwards so the left and right adjucters control up and down and the up and down ones do left and right.

ill detatch the wires and solder them on the right way round when i can be arsed, but for now im just happy its there! and after all..how often do you adjust your mirrors anyway
