I am fitting my 16 v seats today as i have just given them a clean up.

I am strugling to find the right bolts, nuts etc that i need to unscrew, take off.

Does anyone know how to get them off as i have been told its a ten minute jobby but its taking me bout 30 mins so far and i have only got the back seats in, not even the back bench that you lean on .

All and any help welc0me cheers guys, i need to fit them today so its an asap plz

if you look next to the handle adjuster(the one that slides the seat backwards n forwards) in between your legs, theres a little nut (10mm, and at the other end is a 5mm allen key bolt. Ita bout 2cm long. Take that out.

Slide the seat far forward as possible, n then take off the two plastic strips at the ends of the runners. One is bout 30cm long(one nearest the handbrak side)n the other is bout 5cm(nearest the door).

The seat should then just slide back and out.
10 minute job, bit fiddly getting it back it, but not that hard.

Just done the passenger seat now but it got dark and gf was starting to winge ! She was actually alot of help

Yeah easy gettin it out but getting the 16 v one in was a bit fiddly.

I stretched the spring when i was getting it back in but make shifted a new one and its all working fine and looking good !

If any one wants me to take pictures for a step by step guide when i do the drivers seat tomorrow morning then just post !

I know its only a small job but i havent made any guides yet hehe !
