yeah, you could....... you'd just have to adopt a strategy similar to those driving old Mini 850s or 2CVs.... sure the raw power couldn't break a wet paper bag, but that's not as great a disadvantage when you don't even bother to remove throttle pedal from carpet, much less brake, through all the corners. (Mini - sticking like glue, 2CV - not losing control until the body is at 45 degrees compared to the wheels)

make sure put your skid lid on and line the B-pillar with cotton wool!

that's just coming from my dad's large repository of dodgy driving stories (the best being one i had vaguely remembered personal experience of, where he managed to con work into buying him a 2.0 turbo cavalier as a company car in the late 80s... it could seriously shift)

he had several minis before he a/ could afford anything better b/ realised what deathtraps they are c/ got too rotund to fit behind the wheel.... including an original 850 and a clubman... neither of which were particularly over-endowed in the power stakes (top speed about 75..) but completely owned twisty A-roads as you could still average a good 60-70 when it was clear :D
he also did an ill advised gearbox swap on it after the original blew (i wouldnt have thought it possible!) - though, lacking interweb or haynes, ended up with a mental motorsports gearbox, and STILL managed to sell it on... but that's another story

and the 'rents nearly had a 2CV when I was very little but mum physically couldn't stomach that wild, tilty suspension... so they got a panda instead. given that, as far as i'm aware, the panda had no ARB and leaf springs at the rear (any that i've ridden in roll for italy), just HOW much roll CAN that tin snail put out?

ahem
