I have 6n2 1.4 16v SE (75bhp), as the other 1.4 16v is 100bhp and i presume its the same engine, was wondering if its possible to gain the extra 25bhp through tuning the engine?

no it's not, the 100bhp (which i have) has the ecu mapped to performance, better cams, inlets, etc. It's not just a simple ecu remap

Are they different engine codes? If they are I assume there's a lot more different than just ecu

so if i was to get the engine remapped.. how much of a performance boost would i be looking at? or would it be worth more to get the cams done and increase capacity?

not as much as the 100hp model
to be onest i wouldn't bother tuning a 1.4 75.
i have a 1.0 50 and i've just gone down the styling route :p, you can't go anywhere fast these days anyway! and mines sufficiently quick enough
(even though it struggles to pull back the skin of rice pudding sometimes!)
