Hi,
I'm just about to fit an alarm and am finding it hard to find a suitable place to mount the siren unit on a Mk4.
It's a larger siren module with battery back up.
Where are your's fitted? pics would be great.
Cheers, Mo

whack it in near the battery. should cause considerable discomfort to any pikeys trying to disconnect your battery to turn it off

at least mine did, when I was trying to change the battery...

think mine is actually to the left of the battery, near the bulkhead, come to think of it
worked well though, i had a ringing in my ears for a while after....

I'll check it out, as long as I can get to that area with a drill to put some holes in for the bolts should be OK.
I was going to bolt it to the battery plate...but that would be fat too easy for the pikeys.
If anyone has any other positions for the siren let me know also.

you could always used rivets instead of bolts. worth keeping the wires tucked away too, for obvious reasons i would think
