well got myself a polo s reg yesterday, on the way home on the motorway it cut out. RAC came out and said that the altenator's gone.

Damn well gonna get it towed to a garage but im still happy with my purchase.

Any thing like this happen to you

Only with my peugeot, and that was a belt.. twice. Freaking irritating.
