ok i just wanted 2 open this topic, ill get pics up 2moz of the new bonnet on as u know my otha 1 was kinked bad with the crash etc, an the colour of the new 1 is black, now i like this but i want u's 2 give me ur opinons, i have otha things 2 do, but ill explain all that wen i get the pics up 2moz, shes comin 2getha again

yea man cheers i won the bid, it came with a couple of dents so i have 2 get them taken out, dam postage people, so fukin careless with peoples stuff, i cudnt get pics 2day as it is pourin dwn wit rain here but ill get sum 2moz, oh an RR Livi, cheers for the indicators, they look mint now with the bonnet black

should get yourself some carbon film and place it over the top of the bonnet O/j dude

well i appreciate it very much , i just want u guys 2 give me an honest opinion wen i get the pics of the black bonnet coz i want 2 be different and stand out but i dnt want it 2 b tacky, if the bonnet looks ok 2u guys, ill b sprayin the mirrors 2 match it an give the car the look it needs as the bonnet is a large part an with it being a diff colour, changes the whole look so it has 2 work... i need jay on here or sum1 thats good wit photoshop, jay has a cool pic of his car which he changed the colour, if u read this jay cud u paint the bonnet black, plus the mirrors an let me see..?

if you are going for a carbon fibre look get that film that rrlivi was talking about would look 100 times better rather than someone who cant be bothered to colour code their bonnet....will check back for pics

bonnet vinyl is dear is it not?? can any1 help me find any cheap sheets taht wud cover the bonnet

i think you should get it sprayed red again, no point in driving about in a black bonnet [thats just bare metal] looking like you have crashed

yea its only primer on it, ( matt black ) but wot if i was 2 spray it mettalic black, ill prob just spray it again red, i seen 1 of my mates yesterday which used 2 have a polo also an he loved it, but hes obsessed with cars with black bonnets as his blue polo did aswell, his was the same colour as urs RR Livi

I saw a pic of a golf at the GTI show that had a black bonnet roof and boot. That looked good. So unless you wanna paint al that too, i dont recomend ahving a black bonnet. I say nothing but the word naff

i'ld have to second that. i think a black bonnet would only work on a car with alot more mods, like said, black roof, maybe black wheels too could work.
