Whining noise?

Dont know if any of you guys can help me but....
When i turn the ignition on there is a whining noise coming from somewhere around the throttle body....
Looked about, stripped it all, put it back together but cant find the exact source
so gettin rather annoyed now!!
I dont think its anything harmful but id rather know if somethings gunna pack in on me!
Anybody else had the same problem?
