My New Plates

Hi lads, n lasses
Got some nice new number plates on me car last weekend, I should have been at GTI Inters i know, but i was feeling tight!
these plates arrived last friday and i spent most of the day trying to fit the rear one, well i was trying to look for some fixings for most of the day anyway, my old plates were stuck on with 3m foam pads, and being rather optamistic i kinda hoped the new ones would stick on also, after two journeys to halfords there was no such luck, it seemed i had to drill four lovely holes in my bootlid, this i did on the saterday. and was easy enough, half hour job.
The front however caused me a bit of a headache! the reason for this is that to drill the four holes in my front bumper, and to be able to put little washers n nuts on the back of my fixing bolts, the bumper had to be removed, to do this the grill has to be removed, and removing FK grilles is not reckomened cuz the damn tabs on them are so brittle. the indicators then need to be removed, followed by the grill surround. and then you can attempt to remove the front bumper, problem is the six main bolts holding it one were all seized, so i spent a while drilling each one out, and i havent yet replaced them as my VW dealer ordered the wrong ones in for me!
I gotta say tho, it was deffo worth the effort! i love em!
wat u think?

Polokaj, yes its a chrome FK grille, try Venom motorsport
http://www.venommotorsport.com/ its under body styling and then de-badged grilles, but it aint cheap, or VolksBits
http://www.volksbits.com/shop/full.php?q=1124117836 This is the one which i bought. Or there is this one also at VolksBits,
http://www.volksbits.com/shop/full.php?q=1124117891 however i dont think that this one is made by FK.
And tomo87 the splitter is a Rieger infinity lip spoiler painted and laquered in body colour. Rieger your thinking, i know i know, but i think it looks quite subtle, i like it, again it aint cheap tho. oh and its the 76mm deep version, i think the 90mm version looks slightly too big.
