servicing my car

want to service my car my self in the near future - what stuff should i be looking to change

oil filter, air filter, full oil change, strip brakes, check disks and pads...that's all i can think of off the top of my head

ok well my discs and pads got changed the other day when my mate was fixin my car, so i can tick that box

Run an engine flush through it as well prior to changing the oil. Also change the pollen filter.

Get yourself up to GSF in Glasgow for all your parts, excellent guys in there and they know their stuff.

what does GSF stand for?(if anything)

More or less. Just tell them you want a service kit then. They should be able to sort that out for you.
