cut of at idling

this is for the 1.4 16v (100bhp) model but may be for others


is your engine still cuttin goff at idle? i had the same problem but fixed it, its simple, common fualts on polo's is the throttle bodies, once they are dirty they cuase problems, not enough clean air to mix with fuel, to fix it spray lots of carb cleaner into the throttle body whislt on about 4000-5000 rpm and do this for 2-4 days and give it a blast on the motorway

mine does not cut of now and starts and stays started

note: if you have an exhaust its even better coz whislt you cleaning it and reving it and if you hear the exhaust popping it means all the crap is coming out

Important:and also use a performance replacement panel filter instead of original paper one, this will help it stay clean and you only have to clean it every year by using cleaning kit and not replace it, use green or BMC
