anyway gone to collect the car from the bodyshop/garage and there's 3 mechanics standing around fixing my pump.
then the manager came upto me saying my pump must have been knackered when i brought it in!!!!
needless to say it all kicked off by him practically calling me a liar, and me threatening him legal action for slander(my friend was with me).
i left the car there last night and getting it back today now.
but because they wont fix the pump i was wondering if anyone knew the part number of the central locking pump, as i have to prove its been tampered with.
any help greatly appreciated.

Best bet is to take them to small claims if you really belive that you have a case. The fee is about £40 and they would prob just replace it anyway becasue they would not want the hassle of going court etc due to their cost of getting thier time off etc.

now if there is a different part number, may not be replaced or dodgy one, as there are some variations. could double check with VW via VIN code
