Hey,

Just recently when i start up the car, it starts hunting (revs up and down between 500-1000), just wondering if its a common problem and how i can fix it?

Also when it stops after about 10 mins driving, it idles at about 500 revs as apposed to the normal 800...

Thanks
Chris :?

it's called an automatic choke.. it revs when it's cold to get the engine warmed up.. when it is the idle drops

No not hard to start, and its not just when shes cold.

Just at random times starts hunting between 500-1000 and later settles to 500 when usually it idles at 800...

Im probs gunna take it in coz its gettin worse and more frequent and i gotta 8 hour drive on monday, will let u know when i find out whats wrong.
