ah cool i forgot to take any pics of that quattro! slick car!
my car wasnt on disp, too many stone chips!
im liking it so far! after seeing the club g40 cars im 100% settled on picking up a mk3 as a project sometime in the future
i was hoping to see that steering wheel badge combo though.. nice :S
craigsplates.com do nice metal plates that are apparently 100% legal. look nicer than plastics jobs. check out delg40's thread.

the wheels were just some I had on a mk3 golf I was scrapping , I have just bout 4 new falken tyres which needing fitting the alloys are getting sand blasted down and repainting silver if they dont look any better I think I will be investing in a new set.
was going to get alli plates but dont think they are 100 percent road legal and I couldnt be doing with hassle especially as theres more than enuf polizei where I live.
black bumpers and the suspension kit are next on they just need fitting. Also I am goin for a brake upgrade soon big discs and race pads maybe a caliper change. I know I dont need to go this far but its all good practice lol. Also fitting one of the catch tanks I am selling to it as a demo.

lovely! similar to why i want to start with a mk3, nice and simple, cheap to tinker with and a wealth of other engines could be dumped in

shame i dont have any spare cash for a coupe with a blown up engine!
ah well i SUPPOSE uni is more important.
going for GT bumpers? think i'd go for them + arches

ye I am after a set of gt arches and I will have the bumpers sprayed up black. I am mainly concentrating on engine mods although limited and they wont make loads of differance a lot of them will be interchangeable incase I want to do a gt conversion eventually.
I am in two mind as to whether to change the seats I have a few contacts and was either going to upgrade to leather reclining blue and black buckets i was also offered some seat leon cupra r seats but we never discussed prices lol. But I think it may be a shame to loose the seats as they add some originality. Also going to fit some gauges just small ones out of an audi.
