Id always pay extra for proffessional fitting with things like suspension, but up to u if your local garage has had some experience and have the right equiptment and you dont want to pay double for the same thing go for it

its reall easy to do if u had the right tools u could do it urself, just get the tracking done when uve decide on a ride height

i agree with mk 5 polo, when i got my polo lowered i had to change the springs and that was a b***h as it took so long but it was still easy. so i reckon u should try to change them urself. im gonna do it when i get some coilovers. u shoudl have a go urself then if ur not sure ask i friend if they can help. i got my god father to help me as he does stuff to do with cars n e ways. if u decide to do it urself, and this is wat worries me about garages, when u take ur wheels of make sure u dont scratch them.
give it a go it must be pretty easy, only some bolts.

i'd always go to specialists!
in my case it was my local seat garage coz they got two guys to fit my coilovers who had fitted them to their own cars!!

the place in my city wher everyone takes thier cars is SCA an they quoted me 200 quid for fitting, lowering, camber and tracking.
is this good or bad?

£200 HMMMMMM if i were to do it again i reckon i could do it within 2 hours. laser tracking is £5 and not sure about camber but it cant be that much, you do the math. i think £200 is a bit extreme

hmmm
DIY really is the money saving option.
had not many problems when i fitted mine, just make sure you have a decent spring compressor and be bloody careful with it!

from what i remember, the front's are a piece of p*ss but the rears are abit more of a challenge! (they need to be compressed unlike the front ones)
