After all my work rebuilding my gearbox I fitted it to the car last night which wasn't too bad, only took 2.5hours.

Connected the battery (been on charge for 24 hours on a long charge) turned the key - nothing!

I get the radio/lights/indicators to work but on the clocks none of the bottom row of lights show up as if the ignition it's working. I think it might be an ecu problem of some sort but not sure. Battery has been off for 3months.

Any ideas??

I might have forgotten to put 1 lead on from the battery

... well at least its sorted... new gearbox treating you well?

Just got to set the gearlinkage up correctly - difficult to get 2nd and 4th.

Only moved in 1st and reverse so far, feels amazing, like new
