The wifes polos passenger window didnt work when we bought the car, I took the door panel off yesterday and there is a motor in there but the rest of the mechanism is gone and the window is jammed up. Can anyoe tell me where I can get hold of the mechanism/runners or whatever else I need to fix it myself

Common MK4 fault this, the assembly comes as one piece you can order just one part i'm afraid and its £70 NOT FITTED from a dealer. Or you can go down the scrappy, but its not guranteed to be a good one that youy get.
