When you leave my missus polo (1.4) idling for around 1 minute is starts to misfire. When you switch the car off for a minutes or so it starts running ok but the emmissions light stays on. Got the RAC dude to come round and he plugged his computer in and it said it was cylinder 1. he swapped the coil with another one and it was still misfiring in no. 1. he said it probably the sparks or the lead. I changed the sparks and its still doing it. Any idea what it could be?
How much do you guys reckon it'll be to have vw to look at it. Or should i go to an independent. You guys know any good independs around the Ealing area.
Cheers

Had the same. Broke down miles from home, AA fitted a replacement ignition coil pack for 65quid, no labour charges of course
