tweeters are custom fit and can be a right sod, so find a mounting bracket and go by what that will allow you, door speakers are 16.5 or 17cm, both fit. Pioneer do a custom fit replacement set that are quite tasty and noit overly expensive, check out their website.

i was going to buy the alpine type r set as ive heard they are a very good speaker set. Do you know what set offer best vaule for money as i need to sort them out asap as the alpine 9855r will put a hole in the standerd paper speakers soon

The type r's do look very nice, problems that i can see is that you would have to fully rewire all the speakers due to their own specific crossovers, and you would have to find somewhere to put the crossovers thats not ugly.

These might be easier to fit

The similar Pioneers

as for value that all depends on where your getting them from, online shops i have seen the pioneers for £80

Hi Solidsponge,

I got a set of these speakers from the same place last week. I found their service to be very slow and staff if they replied to be unhelpful. They also take your money way before the goods are dispatched.

Cheers
