Lowering Kit for a 6n

This thread has previously been in the MK4 section but il try my luck here, Found these on ebay

After looking at my current shocks I have relised that they look considerably thinner than the ones I have (standard). Just wondering is this normal for aftermarket suspension or will they not fit my car? (POLO 1.9diesel MK4) Please advise guys as I will buy once I know they will be ok.
