what do you recommend for a 1.4 8v mk 5?

i had K&N in my mk5 polo and they were very good! helps the engine breathe better and this helped my revs stay lower and therefore aided fuel consumption!
i've heard green filters are good aswell!

have you got it on a mk 5 polo?
what was the price of it?was it straight fit or universal?
