is the front damper a insert that fits into your old suspension leg?

and those front dampers dont like right for my car...my strut has the wheel bearing built in

Hiya mate, Yep the front dampers for polo's 1,2 and 2f (3) are all inserts..i think the pic on ebay is just for show really as they look like mk4 dampers.

are mine likely to unscrew easily?? is there a tool for unscrewing em
