Inspection?

okay, me missus has a 'R' reg 1.4 60hp effort n its done 51k, but i got the little computer flashing service inspection at me?

so short of going to see VW and bending over to take the charge what do i gotta do? and whats likely to be the issue?

Its telling you its due for its 12months inspection service. When you have the car serviced it should be reset.

so that means i GOTTA go VW to get it serviced?!

isnt there a way to jig it so i can just get rid of the message and do the oil n that myself?

yeah there is. its in the haynes manual or do a search for it on here. I have forgot exactly how to do it myself, but it can be done.

Yes. Just turn the ignition on, but don't start the engine.
