lowering

i havwe got 195/45/15 tyres on at the moment and was wondering how far i could lower it without needed much arch modification? any help appreciated

i droped mine 40/40 and it only rubs a bit on the frunt but i got 195/50/15 on frunt and on the back it dosent rub but there 195/45/15 thats no arch mod only a bit of plastic triming hope it helps

my bro lowered his mk3 on 195/45/15! he had it down about 30-35mm i think with hardly any trouble, infact less trouble than when he was at standard height because the suspension had more play so to speak!

how far can you go without scrubbing?as i have speed bumps on my road and dont want to scrub when i turn onto my drive and i want it to pass the mot but that isnt till next august

anything from 40 - 60mm should be fine
