HELPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I WAS TRYIN TO FIT A SWITCH FOR FOOTWELL NEONS SO I TOOK OUT THE CIGARETTE LIGHTETR AND CUT THE CABLES THEN PUT EM IN A CONNECTOR BLOCK WITH THE CABLES FROM THE LIGHTS AND THEY DONT WORK AND NOW THE CD PLAYER WONT WORK EITHER1 ANY IDEAS??

lol, oh dear mate, u shud of did the easiest thing for those an that it buy a switch, link it2 one wire an connect teh other 2 the battery or a main wire leadin 2 it or u cud of wired them up 2 ur headlight, so wen u switch them on the neons come on, im not sure why ur cd player aint workin unless the lighter runs off the same power as the cd player, just rewire all the wires u cud man, an do wot i suggested

the neons dont work either, i aint done out tot he cables, just cut them off the cig lighter. and most people take it from the cig lighter

easiest source of power. Could a fuse have gone cos i cant see any thing else tht could of went wrong

wen i was doing my neons i used the cigarette lighter as the power source, n yea my fuse bles i cnt remember which 1, but it cut out my CD player if i remember correct, i think it was the 15 fuse, i cn look later 4 u if iu want bud?

sounds like u popped a fuse - stereo and cig lighter on same fuse and i think its the end one (right hand side) number 21 or summit. it says on the drivers glovebox thing on the underside. when i done mine i run a live off batt to my own lil fuse box so i could have some switches and used the cig lighter for the earth. i ripped all the neonage out thou coz didnt like the way my car was turning out

a pair of footwell neons aint so bad i suppose. neways best of luck i hate car electrics now theres too much going on behind my dash.

Yeah watch out tho mate bcos your Central Locking is on that fuse as well.
