OK looks like my plans for 16v bumpers have gone down the drain this month, heres why:

When i'm in low gears or accelerating quite hard i hear a constant rattle that sounds as if its coming from under the dash on the right hand side.

I think that this maybe down to a clutch issue, as ever since i bought the car the biting point is VERY high and makes a "creaking" sound when pushed to the floor and up again.

Could the clutch be the source of the rattle?

And has anyone replaced thier clutch before? if so how much for the parts and labour roughly?

O almost forgot, my car won't un-lock on the drivers side anymore!!

Ok best way to tell if ur clutch has gone or is going pull ur handbreak up fully and then bite if ur car lifts up ur clutch is fine if not get it changed.

you might just need ur clutch pedal adjusting.
