HU for Ipod

Post by Chris_GTI »

Hi,

I saw there is a mini-site on the Alpine website relating to their Ipod offering:http://www.alpine-europe.com/content/english/

The HU is the 9850, and it costs about £170. (http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product ... ts_id=4679)

It only has one pre-out however.

Instead, you could always get the Alpine IPod interface, but you'd be loking at £60 for just that, limiting your budget for a HU. Possibly the 9812 with your 15% discount!

I would always recommend Alpine, as I have one myself - you could also post the question on the Talk Audio forum? www.talkaudio.co.uk

Best of luck,

Chris.

How about a sony one? Then you can use the remote attached to dash which makes it a lot easier to change songs etc. Ive just bought a sony radio to do so.

Heres some here. Got specs on, need one with mini jack on if you want remote steering commander option.

U might wanna try this one m8,

http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/product_pri ... t_id=11765

It's not really in the same price range as your looking at (i got it from Halfords for £130, but u can get them on ebay for £65!!!), but it's got 2x 2.2V pre-outs, and an AUX-IN at the back.

I rate it quite highly, and it looks great in my car.

Hi mate, do you need a special adaptor to use the aux-in on this headunit you have linked to? im thinking of getting it but need to know what adaptor is needed...many thanks.
