I have a 16.GL and am looking to fit it with G60 brakes all round. I was wondering if anyone knows if the G60 Hub will fit onto the 6N at the front? And for the rear, I plan to put the G60 hubs onto a 16v rear axle, again I am guessing but if the G60 hubs fit onto the front they will fit onto the 16v axle on the back? Any information would be greatly received, as I should be able to do all this soon!!!
Thanks
James

Well thanks for all the help!! Anyway if anyone is interested, it is easier to go with the polo 16v hubs and then add the G60 onto them. All i need now is a good place to get some G60/passat/audi caliper carriers and calipers for a decent price. Well if there isnt any help out there will just keep adding to this as i find stuff out!

no problem, is fun finding it out myself anyway. Finding it hard to get some decent price caliper carriers. If i cant find any, have been suggested that a CNC Machining place might knock up a set for a decent price and would probably be lighter too!
Seems that a 16v set up for the rear axle and front hubs is the way to go, and then add the other bits onto them.
Will add stuff as i find it out, will add pics when i get it all done too.

Well its had been a while and I have been a bit lazy, but it has been done and been running them for a while. All I can say is that its worth doing! Got the standard discs and pads (as the pads came with the calipers) and it stops so quickly, really good braking and relatively easy conversion. The hardest thing was getting the briaded lines modified, but found some very helpful guys at Pirtek who sorted me out.
Next, are the rears. Got a new axle from breakers, with mk2 golf stud axles on and discs and calipers. Just need to clean everything up, hamerite, get the brake lines done and throw it all one. Anyone need any help let me know.
