evening jason,
i paid £2200 for my polo.
its only a 1litre mind but still, really much nippier than any other 1litre ive driven.
this was a great deal cuz my cars great condition and i bought it just pushing 50k miles.

this was an ebay job!

so seriously would advise to start there, also, look at cars wiv rle lame pix and description, cuz these are normally birds selling ther cars hoo no nought about them lol, but they treat them well and no1 else is interested in them because the description is so naff.
thats how i got mine anyway!!!

should have seen the girls face wen i picked it up, she was heart broken that she only got just over 2k for it, especially when she had people livin nearby offering much closer to 3 lol, but being a woman, she felt to guilty 2 pull out of a deal!

gotta love the useless girls :)

lol not that im sexist, but...ya no!!!

hope this helps and gd luck!

Search m8. I was lucky enough. One day I was searching the nationals (in autotrader) for a mark 5 and I came across it. And it was only about 50 miles away. Got mine for £2600 with 16,000 miles on and its a 1.4s. Total bargin. Last owner was a priest lmao :P

I bought mine in June this year for £3810 with 39K on the clock. It did have new alloys/tyres, so I thought it was a fair price, but yours was a real bargain Arnoldo!
