Hello Forum.

Just bought a Polo from 86 as my new winter project and I would need some wiring diagrams for it if anyone has.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

1986 is a Mk2...have you got a Haynes manual? There is usually a full wiring diagram in it...if you haven't got one, look on eBay, but don't pay more than a couple of quid!

The car is an 86 but the engine and wiring is from a 91 Polo GT.
All the manuals are for Polo's up to 90 :(

you would need the mk3 1990-94 haynes manual then, they won't have them in that link given previously as it was set to only find the mk2 versions, i bought a mk2 and a mk3 manual on ebay with no probs

So MK1-MK2 is up to 90' ?
I have also searched for "VW Polo" general but still could not find any manual for 90-> ...
They did not made any manuals for 90's up ?
Anyway the engine looks like the old carburator engine so I guess the timing belt it's same ?
