right i have a set of early a3 wheels destined for my 1.4 8v
problem is with the adaptors, i can get them but is there a minimum thickness i will need?
obvioulst i dont want them hanging out from my arches so i thought 15mm should be fine but my dad who is helping me with this reckons different!
any help much appreciated

You can get whatever width adapters you want really, its when you lower the car more than about 60mm that you have to worry about offsets and arch rolling etc.

I was going to pop some 15" A3 rollers on my GTi. I got a quote of £200 for 20mm H&R 5x100 -> 4x100 adapters from John at 2modified.com

The adapters should come with everything you need so as long as you have the original wheel bolts for the A3 rims you're laughing!
