eh, 00 with 68,000 up on it???

so if i decide to go for it, should i get someone to check it out before I buy or what? wat do ppl usually do? its bout 160 miles from meso should i take it to a mechanic up by near him to get it looked at before buying or what? PLEASE REPLY!!!!! cheers

You can either pay for someone from the RAC or DEKRA (AA approved) to do an inspection on it (about £140/£150), or get a local mechanic to give it a once over, I went for the mechanic option as I think the inspections are a bit pricey for what they are actually doing given that they don't provide any kind of warrenty after you buy the car.

I'd also get a data check done on the car, HPI or experian are popular ones, they just tell you if the car has been stolen, written off, has existing finance on it etc.

I did both of the above and picked my car up last Sunday, very pleased with it so far!!

my cars a 2000 x reg and i got about 53,000 on it. prob gonna sell it in the new year to. i'll see wat happens.
