New rims :)

Loving them, they sit just right and fill the arch great.
Car needs lowering a few mm, the rear looks about right, but thats down to the audio and the BBS rims in the boot!

Taking the rims to get the tyres pulled off tomorrow so I can get the wheels referbed.
Decided against fitting them back onto the Polo though, going to darken the centres and fit them to the Lupo.

Just need to find some VW centre stickers to replace the Mini ones and we're away.
Think they'd look great polished!

It looks a little like one in that pic, except the Corsa came with 5 spokes :P

I think they have a hint of Lupo Bathursts about them from some angles.

I think they suit it quite well, needs some lowerage tho.

Thats my thoughts.
They are 6.5" wide, and with the 20mm adaptor plates have an offset of -28.
The rears are rubbing slightly when hitting a bump.

The MOT is coming up, and as the wife has stated I can not mess with this car, I'm going to have a word with the testing station to fail the car on suspention, bushes all round so I can upgrade with without her complaining

I thought the wheels were wider than that, they look it especially from the pic. With adaptors and that offset, surely can't do the bearings much good? I would have thought they would foul the Lupo's arches even more, especially how low it is?

I am sure wifey wouldn't even notice a -30mm drop on Eibach springs, aesthetically or comfort wise, but i assume it is just the case of fitting them when she isn't around.

I like it - they'd look awesome with the spokes diamond cut on the front.

I thought they were also, to me they look to be 7" but all I could on line today said they were 6.5"

They wouldn't fit the Lupo, the cars sitting -120mm all round, even the old ET35 6.5" 15s used to rub like mad!

Got the BBS rims stripped down, so will be going for sandblasting tomorrow, TBH they don't need doing, but the rims need the paint removing so they can be polished back up, so I may as well get the centres stripped and power coated while I'm at it.

The Mini wheels are rubbing at the rear, may need to machine off 10mm of the adaptors yet which would be a shame as they look so fat lol

sorry...but you have wrecked a perfectly good vehicle...

Why are you sorry?
It's not your old car is it? ;)

They are winter wheels, they came with brand new tyres, don't have a mark on them, and the custom adaptors.
All for £200.

Wheels are wheels, you get bored, 16 bolts later they're changed.
No big deal really

Ignore samuel, everyone else does.

They're a change from G60 steels anyway. What size tyres are on there?

I was going to ask about the tyres too :) they are a 16" rim aren't they?

I'm still not entirely sure what to make of them (70/30 in favour of the new look at the moment) but kudos for trying something different! A touch lower on the front, which you have got planned anyway, and it will improve things no end I think.

lol everyone is entitled to there opinion, I am sure he would come and tell me to my face my wheels were s**t if we met

The tyres are 215/40/16 Falken FK.
Quite impressed by them, normally stick with Uniroyal rainsports, but I may try these again, grip really well.
