Hi all. After finding out on here what the right bulb types are for my 2000 W reg 6n2 Polo (in the pic

), i now cant work out how to get the old sidelight bulbs out of the headlight itself.
I have managed to get the full beam and dipped beam out with no problem but the sidelights just wont come out.
What is the best way to get the sidelights out of the headlight (without causing damage to the car or whatnot

)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

UPDATE....
Ooooh - just went out in the dark and fiddled with the headlights (yes, i know i am crazy)
After about 5 mins of fiddling i got the grip and managed to yank them out, but the drivers side one was so tight it was unbelievable!
Cheers for the pointers guys and gals!

You want to get Osram Diadems for the front indicators Alex - they look brill. Expensive @ £13, but worth it in looks & performance (last twice as long, allegedly, than standard bulbs).

Hi again Alex - I don't have a pic which shows them properly, but believe me you won't be disappointed if you fit them. I have fitted a GTi grille, upgraded headlamps to Osram Silverstars. Also upgraded brake bulbs to Phillips 50+, which are brighter and faster reacting. Car was fitted with 15" OZ alloys when I bought it & very pleased with those, running on Nankang 195/45/15 tyres. That's about it so far, no major mods in the pipeline. It's a 1.4 Match (2001 vintage in reflex silver).
