new headunit but lost component output

hi,
today I installed a sony DX-GT300S headunit to my polo but now the component speaker output is all zero, there are no low range frequencies coming out at all.
any ideas?

u talkin about the standard tweeters on the dash, if so, they are pish, i am running mtx door speakers and tweeters off an amp, the standard tweeters used to come on and off, just runnin off the head unit so had to unplug them

no the door speakers.
i think i have worked it out though. for some reason the low, mid and high eq values were all set to +10, when i lowered the high and mid to 0 you could feel the bass coming out the door.
i think it must just be the thing that splits the signal was just sending the extra high frequency to the door speakers so not to overload the dash ones and then this stopped the low frequencies coming out.
