I'm not too sure about value because I oly really know about GTI values. My GTI cost £4500 and its a bit older but with similar milage. So I guess maybe £3500, maybe more because of the mods but I don't know how much difference they would make. Sorry if i'm way off!

On an entirely different note, will you be selling the alloys seperately if you do part with the car, because they are exactly what i want on my car so I'd definitely have them if you sold them seperately!

I'd say you could easily get £3,500 for it, if not more! Looks like a GTi anyway and they're going for on average £4,500. You know i love your car Phil, you should keep it! Try £4,000 anyway mate if you do decide to sell it.

Cheers danny. Feeling quite s**t about it, cos i really dont wanna sell, but iv been offered £3800 for it and i just cant see me getting that sorta offer again.

I am in such a predicament!!!

Bryony, nah sorry, the wheels are gonna go with the car. Unless, the guy would rather have my pld alloys on, which i seriously doubt! Sorry.

Lol a little bit yeah but thats cos the red and black are so shiney.

Hmmm thats a good offer! Anyone getting the sense this is like deal or no deal? lol haha. Anyway :? lol what are your plans for your next car if you decide to sell it, think about all that too. I think you'll honestly regret it if you do sell it mate

£3800 seems like a good offer to me. But the question is, what would you replace it with?

I'd say, if you fancy a nwe project, you should sell because the car looks mint and theres probably not much more you would need to do to it. If you're happy not having a car to work on then keep it because it looks great!!

What alloys are they on it? Would love to get some for mine!

When you say you spotted the mk2 quite cheap, you'll have tax and get it through the MOT, if you still got money left over afterwards to start modding it then go for it. But if your not 100% certain that its the right thing to do then dont do it, you might live too regret it.

i'd say you'll definitely be able to get 3200/3400 for it standard, so if you kept all the standard parts you prob might be able to get more for the car if you sell it by parts. Modified as it is, if sold in London, i reckon you could get about 4k, 4300ish
