Does anybody know how to get it off, ive been trying for hours??

im unsure, but i hope you had the battery disconnected while you were trying.
surely it should be a case of pulling the cover off and unscrewing the bolt holding it on

I think you need to turn the wheel through 180 degrees and the release the spring clips through the back of the steering wheel. Be careful if you decide to remove it as they have been known to go off.
