ive already lowered my car once... i done a 60mm drop on a set of springs and dampers.. which was the biggest mistake i could have ever done... cos i want it lower...

this is my current ride hight from the front
Image

theres not a massive amount of room but it can be done...

and this is the ride height from the back

which could be dropped a massive amount more...

Atm i have a 195 45 tyres, but im lookin at getting a much smaller profile tyre after xmas, so i should be able to drop it that much more...

im looking at coilovers now as im not happy wid its current hight... i was told FK coils are wicked.... but they dont seem to do a set that drop over 70mm, i was looking at sumthin thats gunna lower it around 80mm and more if poss any ideas??.... before u guys say the arches will also be geting rolled..

if u could point me in the write direction wold be ace

cheers!!

are they 15's or 16's?? if there 16's, the idea of you lowering the profile will help loads when it comes to rubbing.

I think the height looks ok, yeh maybe a bit more at the back, but its not bad.

I'm pretty sure the FK's drop more than 70mm. What sorta budget you got like?

Fks can be set lower as far as I know its just that when they were been given their TUV (German stamp of approval and good quality) it was only provided on drops of max 70mm... As far as I know they can go nearer 110 or 120mm but the warentee is void or something like that if damage occurs. I aint too sure... Call an fk drealer and just have a chat... Sum1 else will tell u for sure i just thought i would mention it...

nah f**k that mate, dont go smaller bud. i'm on 16's mate, just make sure you have a profile of 40 for your tyres. My last wheels scrubbed with a higher profile tyre. Fair enough they woulda been a higher offset etc, but im down about 80mm on 16's and dont scrub even with a full car.

It may depend on how solid you set the dampers on the coilies at. The stiffer the ride, the less rubbing you'll get, but the harsher and more uncomfortable it'll be.
