accelerator pedal

Post by yoshi »

hey everyone ! this is my first post as you can see, unfortunately its about a problem that i recently got ! basically, while settin off from college, i realised my gas pedal was not travelling all the way down. i got out and checked it and found out that it was kind of loose and i could move it back up with my hand. i dunno if this is a biggy or not (i hope not! :? ) but is there any way i can fix it ? is it just loose and can i tighten it at home ? any help appreciated, thanks ! :) p.s the performance is normal.

AFAIK everyone with a MK5 can lift the pedal up a bit with their foot, seems to be a normal thing.

Hope that helps :D

Most makes of cars I've had have been like this - nothing to worry about.
