hi folks, was wondering where the best place to get a debadged gril from?
not mesh, Standard look.
i have a FK one sitting next to me and got it from Venom.
I hate it (no offence to anyone who likes em and has one....

ahem...

)
the supporting slats that go vertical are to obvious in my opinion. tis a shame cause the one on my Raddo is a good-un
Im sure there was one before the FK one, can't remember tho
Whatya got???
Cheers

I think you get the bonrath one from Awesome-gti.co.uk and as far as know from doing nothing at work and surfing these pages it is completely plain and looks quite good.
I bought a kamei grill though.
Hope that helps ya

Hey Brian,

I have an FK one, actually. But I've never looked at it that carefully to notice the slats
Bonrath is quality though, can't really go wrong with them.

Speedlaw, i've had your site in my favourites now for ages!!!!
Love your car bud. my mate has Ronal's on his oak green MK2 Golf GTI, decked on Koni coilovers
Cant go wrong really! I wanted them for My MKI golf project
im picky about things like the slats even though yours looks sh*t hot in the pics
Going a bit euro with the polo actually...

Cool Brian
Thanks for the kudos
And, even though I hadn't noticed the slats, I can dig your attention to detail! If I had to list my mods, there'd be three noticeable ones and countless details on there... To be honest, I just bought one (grill) and didn't even bother to check which brand it was.
And even more off topic - did your mate with the Oak Green GTI go to Inters last year? And if so, did he stay at the Black Horse @ Ipswich?

He should be going next year tho
he's also hoping to have a 20v T in there by then!!!
After he was beaten twice in one week. first, anhilated by me in the G60 the beaten by my mate in his 1.4 16v polo. he reckons he needs something faster!
1.4 16v polo's rule!!!

There was exactly such a car at my hotel last year, so that's why I thought it must've been him
And you're right, GTI Inters is obligatory for any Dub owner!
