Just curious as to what the stock speaker ratings are before i change the head unit and blow them up!
I have a mk 4 1996 1.4se, stock radio/casette and such..
speaker wattages would be great! or alternative speakers which fit the gaps! (and maybe a hint at somewhere with a guide on how)
:) thanks in advance

Andrew

i doubt you'd blow them up i have 4x50 watts going into mine and they handle it well apart from very high volume where they distort. The standard speakers in the Polo arent overly bad, you just need a decent HU driving them. If you really want to swap them go for one of the Pioneer custom fit sets because they just swap with your old ones and are decent speakers

Just remember this, a headunit may say 4x50w but realistically it'll only be about 4x20w RMS
