Im stressin over which one of the consoles to get, really stressin !

I want one asap so kinda puts the ps3 out of the runnings, although it will be the dog b*******s when its out with its blue ray etc. But iv heard the blue ray discs can get scratched very easily.

So its between the 360 and wii, graphics on 360 will obviously be better but im not to bothered about that because i buy the console for the games playability and functions, plus hook it up to a hd tv and to the average eye you wont be able to tell the difference. The 360 has interent and when gta 4 comes out you will; be able to download extra cars and maps etc which sounds well sexy. wii will have internet aswell which you will be able to download old games from.

I cant see myself waving that remote thing around each night but thats cool cause nitendo are bringing out a normal controller too. My girlfriend will play the fun games on wii so i wont be leaving her out wen ever i play puter

360 is already out so can get that now and is already a year ahead so will be releasing new and cool stuff (like their new hd dvd player). But never been a fan of xbox and halo n all that.
I prefer zelda n mario n gta etc.

I really dont know what to get !!!

Any one wanna recommend a console.

It's a tough one in some respects.

The Wii looks like its going to be a much more entertaining and involving gaming experience, and as you say more "girlfriend" friendly Also the Wii is going to be pretty cheap for a brand new console at £179 last time I checked.

However the 360 is pretty tempting, due to the fact it's been out for a year and as such accessories and games etc should be getting cheaper.

I had been waiting for the PS3, but due to the quite frankly excessive pricing of the console and potentially excessive pricing of games. Also the simple fact Sony made errors over production meaning the European launch gets pushed back would put me off.

360 for sure der amazing :D

Get the 360 mate..wii or wee as they say looks like a proper gimmick..ps3 not out yet and blu ray aint even a format thats used at the moment.

360 is out..is a proven console has some awesome games out and next years line up is pretty impressive in my opinion, plus get on xbox live for a game of g.r.a.w with us

Get a 360 dude!! I been playin Gears of War all day, I aint got Hi-def tele but it still looks awesum. I seen a link somewhere comparing the ps3 and 360 il find it in a mo.

I've got a 32" samsung hd lcd and it looks top rate on itbiddle...been playing fear tonight and i have never jumped so much in my life.

Get on Ebay and buy a Sega Megadrive. Now thats a games console.

Personally i think the Wii looks pretty cool, a bit gimmicky but that controller looks well entertaining. Never been a massive fan of Xbox but prices are coming down and they're getting better games too. Think i'd wait for the PS3.

Metz: i'm sure i saw some Blu ray cd's in HMV the other day. Cant remember if they were games or audio though.

I'm going to be boring and stick with my trusty PS2 until Gran Turismo 5 is announced, then I will look at a PS3.

Must admit that the Xbox is slightly tempting though

i reckon blu ray is gunna go the same way as the dodo and HD movies will be the in thing..remember betamax? cough *blu ray* cough haha

Im tempted to buy the new xbox, and the wii seems a lot of fun, but for now I think I'll be sticking with my ps2 and await the ps3

the wii looks pretty cool with the remote control and all but i think ill wait until the ps3 comes out.

think im going to go for the 360 and then in a year or 2 get a ps3 just for the fact it needs to be owned !
