HeYa Guys...

Just got my new spoiler... got it painted and ready to be put on but i'm not sure of the best way to put it on. I've been told you can drill it on :( , get some sikaflex adhesive glue or get some sticky pad. Not sure which method to use, any one got any ideas?

id agree there. Prob bonding it on would be best. If you ever want to take it off, just heat it up and it wont ruin the paintwork....may take a while getting the bonding off tho!

Cheers guys for ya advice, just called up my local auto accessorys store and they sugguested to use a double sided sticky pad, which is very strong and less hassle. Not 2 sure about that one tho, sounds abit shifty. Might just go with the sikaflex 221 adhesive sealant. wish me luck ! :?

I used seleant on mine, I just held it in place then with some packing tape and some weights on it. Solid as fook now.

I went to a body shop and they stuck it on for me with a non-setting mastic adhesive, used for bonding on - would you believe - spoilers.

It sticks so well that the spoiler will break or the bootlid skin will break before it comes off.

To remove you need a lot of heat and you need to pull it very hard for a very long time.
